Stockist is a long-running, popular store locator. It is good at what it does, and if its limits suit you, stay. This page is for Shopify brands weighing the two.
At a glance
- Price. Stockist: $10/month for 100 locations ($8 if billed annually), $20 for 500, $40 for 2,000, 14-day trial. Nearmio: free up to 5 locations, then $9.99/month flat for unlimited, 7-day trial.
- Location caps. Stockist tiers by number of locations. Nearmio has one paid plan with no cap, so adding stockists never moves you up a tier.
- Platform. Stockist works on most site platforms. Nearmio is built only for Shopify, as a theme app block.
- Features Stockist has that Nearmio doesn't (yet). Search analytics with heatmaps, Google Sheets sync, multi-language, custom map themes and pin icons.
- Features Nearmio has. Row-by-row CSV preview before anything is created, in-place re-imports that keep hand-fixed pins, flagged uncertain pins you fix by dragging or correcting the address, a Faire export workflow, and a crawlable schema.org store list on your own domain for search engines and AI assistants.

You need analytics, several languages, Google Sheets sync, or your site is not on Shopify.
Choose Nearmio if
You are on Shopify, have 5 or fewer locations (free) or a long list you don't want to pay per tier for, and care about the list being readable by AI assistants.
