# Nearmio — Store Locator & Where to Buy for Shopify

> Nearmio is a Shopify app that adds a "where to buy near me" store-locator map to a merchant's storefront. It shows shoppers which physical retailers, stockists, dealers — or the brand's own stores — carry the brand's products. No Google Maps API key is required; setup takes minutes.

## Key facts

- No Google API key or map account to set up — the app works out of the box.
- Import locations via CSV or add them by hand; rows with coordinates skip geocoding.
- Wrong geocodes are flagged in a review queue; fix a pin by dragging it, searching, or pasting a Google Maps link.
- Shoppers search by city, postcode/zip, or current location; listings support store hours, phone numbers, one-tap directions, and merchant-defined filters (product lines, store types, services).
- Installs as a Theme App Extension app block — no code, no theme edits.
- Publishes each merchant's stockist locations as agent-readable content: a crawlable HTML stores page on the merchant's own domain plus schema.org structured data (an ItemList of LocalBusiness entries with addresses, geo coordinates, opening hours, and phone numbers), kept in sync with the live location data automatically.
- Requests no Shopify access scopes: it only reads the location data the merchant gives it and never touches products, orders, or customers.
